Start Your First Run

Start a solo or friend run, sell the first logs, and buy the 150-Coin Axe from the Tool Shop cabin before you overspend on hand upgrades.

You start with empty hands. The official loop is break trees, collect logs, sell them for Coins, buy tools, and upgrade those tools. A saved run is started from the lobby, not from a code.

Start the run

  1. In the lobby, find the START A RUN pad.
  2. Step on it. The sign allows a solo party or up to three friends, so a party run holds at most four players.
  3. Wait through the teleport countdown. Leave Party is available if you need to back out.
  4. When the forest loads, follow the first tree prompt.

The official description says solo and friend runs save. It does not name a save button or list every item that persists. Public servers are a separate 15-player setting.

Make the first sale

  1. Click or hold the attack button to punch a tree until it falls. No axe is required for this tree.
  2. Pick up the logs. Desktop footage uses E. Holding E gathers the pieces in the opening loop. Before upgrades, carry space is only a handful of logs. One first load could not take more than about five, and a starting bag has also been described as holding 10.
  3. Carry them to the brown sell pad beside the orange wood chipper.
  4. Use the CLICK SELL control. The number on screen is the value of the load you are holding, not a fixed price per log. One opening bundle of about five logs sold for roughly 60 Coins, and another frame showed a 5/5 bundle at $65.

Buy the Axe before you over-upgrade your hands

Press Tab to open run Upgrades when the tutorial asks you to buy an upgrade. Hands Hold lets you keep punching while the button stays down. That is worth taking. Do not empty your Coins on later hand levels if the Axe is close.

  1. Find the wooden cabin labeled TOOL SHOP. This is not the same screen as the Shop button. Desktop footage opens that other shop with R.
  2. Face the Axe on the inside wall and use the View prompt. Desktop footage shows E.
  3. The observed price is 150 Coins. Buy it when the card matches your balance.
  4. Open Upgrades again. Axe Sharpness, Axe Speed, and Axe Hold appear for the Axe you now own.

A creator route used three Sharpness upgrades, two Speed upgrades, and Hold during one run. That is one path, not a required order. If the menu blocks a later row, buy the earlier row first. One session was told upgrades had to be taken in order.

Spend the next Coins on the slow part

If this is slow Look at Observed example
Each tree takes many hits Axe upgrades Sharpness, Speed, and Hold after the Axe is owned
You walk back with too few logs Backpack First sign showed 175 Coins. A later backpack in the same kind of session was 750. An early bag held 10.
Trees are far from the chipper Garage vehicle A 500-Coin vehicle with carry 50. Spawn it after you pay.
Loose logs take too long to grab Log Vacuum Buy the tool before you expect its upgrade tab.
The chipper queue is the wait Chipper Speed It speeds the queue. It was not shown to raise the Coin value of a log.

After a purchase, check the owned state, the new capacity on the HUD, or the newly unlocked upgrade tab. A personal Coin balance is not a price.

What done looks like

You own the Axe, its upgrade tab is open, and a sell updates your Coin total. The next job is either more carry, a vehicle, or the first gem reward in the lobby. Clearing the starter trees is a later goal, not something you finish before the Axe.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Coins, Gems, and a party?

Coins, sometimes labeled cash, pay for the Tool Shop, run upgrades, and Coin vehicles. Gems pay for permanent perks and class cards. Robux covers separate products such as a timed Trial Saw, gem packs, and some passes. A public server holds 15 players. A saved party run is smaller: solo, or you plus up to three friends.

What should I buy first in Chop A Forest?

Punch a tree, pick up the logs, and sell them at the chipper for Coins. In observed footage the Tool Shop Axe cost 150 Coins. Buy that before you sink a long streak of Coins into hand upgrades you are about to replace. Then raise carry space or transport if walking back is the slow part.

Do Chop A Forest runs save?

The official description says solo and friend runs save. That line does not list every item that stays. A Rainbowmaker panel said that offer lasts for the current game and must be bought again next game, and Coin garage vehicles are described as run unlocks. Read each card for current-game, timed-trial, or permanent wording.

Are there working Chop A Forest codes?

No code string has been confirmed for this experience, and inspected gameplay did not show a code-entry button. Use the lobby Rewards stall instead. An October 13 panel showed +35 gems on Daily Reward and a +100 gem Group Reward checklist. Another walkthrough called the one-time social payout 180 gems. Trust the panel in your lobby.

How often do classes restock?

The Classes booth says classes restock about every five minutes and are bought with gems. Sold out is the state of that refresh, not proof the class was removed. A run can also show a Robux price on the same card. Check the currency before you confirm.
